Black and Beyond: Race through expressions and identities is a short film project meant to showcase the heterogeneous ways that young adults interpret and express their racial identity.
The film will showcase 1/2 to 1 minute vignettes and performances by dancers, poets, singers, writers, and all other forms of creative livers. Expressive pieces should respond to the question: “What does being Black mean to you?”
Filming will take place during January and February. To participate, organize, or volunteer, contact Dan Stringer at dpstring at gmail.com.
